Three MACU basketball players receive postseason honors

UNIONTOWN, Pa. — Three athletes from the Mid-At­lantic Chris­tian men’s and women’s bas­ket­ball pro­grams earned hon­ors from the United States Col­le­giate Ath­letic As­so­ci­a­tion.

MACU men’s bas­ket­ball player Alex Stan­ley was named to the USCAA’s Divi­sion I Na­tional All-Aca­demic team.

Stan­ley, who played high school bas­ket­ball at Pasquotank County, con­cluded his se­nior sea­son with the Mus­tangs this win­ter.

The USCAA Na­tional All-Aca­demic award is given to stu­dent-ath­letes with at least 24 cred­its and a 3.5 GPA.

MACU women’s bas­ket­ball play­ers Talethia Alexan­der, a se­nior, and Amanda Le­mons, a sopho­more, were named to the USCAA’s women’s Divi­sion I hon­or­able men­tion All-Amer­i­cans.
