Sheriff's office probes B&Es

The Pasquotank County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a number of break-ins and thefts that have occurred this month.
Between Feb. 7 and Feb. 12 someone cracked a safe at a home in the 400 block of Meadstown Road and stole $2,200 cash, according to a report filed by the sheriff’s office.
Someone broke into a home in the 100 block of Ferry Road between 7:30 a.m. and 7 p.m. Monday and stole two television sets valued together at $550 and a set of figurines valued at $40, according to the report filed by the sheriff’s office.
Someone stole electronics, tools and golf clubs from the home at 1610 Crescent Drive shortly after 2 a.m. Saturday.
Taken were a set of golf clubs valued at $3,000, three television sets valued together at $1,450, two DVDs player valued at $200, a soundbar valued at $100, two portable drills valued together at $200, a nail gun valued at $400, two tool sets valued together at $490, and a stereo system valued at $150, according to the report.
