BRADENTON, Fla. (AP) -- Narciso Crook hit a two-run homer in the second inning, leading the Daytona Tortugas to a 4-3 win over the Bradenton Marauders in the second game of a doubleheader on Wednesday.

The home run by Crook started the scoring in a four-run inning and gave the Tortugas a 2-1 lead. Later in the inning, Morgan Lofstrom scored on a forceout and TJ Friedl hit an RBI single.

Following the big inning, the Marauders cut into the deficit in the fifth inning when Jason Delay hit an RBI single, driving in Alfredo Reyes.

The Marauders saw their comeback attempt come up short after Delay hit a sacrifice fly, scoring Reyes in the seventh inning to cut the Daytona lead to 4-3.

Jesse Adams (2-1) got the win in relief while Bradenton starter Oddy Nunez (1-3) took the loss in the Florida State League game. Ryan Hendrix recorded his first save of the season.

For the Marauders, Tyler Gaffney doubled and singled.
