WILMINGTON, Del. (AP) -- Aramis Ademan tripled and singled twice, scoring two runs as the Myrtle Beach Pelicans defeated the Wilmington Blue Rocks 10-1 in the second game of a doubleheader on Wednesday.

Tyler Alamo doubled twice and singled with a couple of runs and two RBIs for Myrtle Beach.

Myrtle Beach started the scoring in the second inning when Daniel Spingola hit an RBI double and then scored on a two-run single by Luis Ayala.

Wilmington answered in the bottom of the frame when Xavier Fernandez scored on a ground out to cut the deficit to two.

Myrtle Beach later scored in three additional innings, including a four-run fifth, when Kevonte Mitchell hit a two-run single to help finish off the blowout.

Myrtle Beach southpaw Bryan Hudson (3-3) picked up the win after allowing one run on just one hit over five innings. Opposing starter Anthony Bender (1-2) took the loss in the Carolina League game after a rough outing in which he allowed seven runs and seven hits over 4 2/3 innings.

The teams split the doubleheader after Wilmington won the first game 3-1.
