Trump's America not what nation traditionally stands for

Look at what has happened in America, a country with a Constitution to rule it and a Statue of Liberty given by France in recognition of its welcoming of tired, poor, huddled masses yearning to be free. Its caption is no longer valid in America since Trump became leader.

That was made clear when he no longer wants immigrants from “s..t hole countries”” and other black and brown countries. He actually said, “where are the immigrants from Norway and Poland?”

But he cannot have his hopes under the Constitution, the blueprint of our democracy. So he must now change our country from a democracy to a dictatorship. We are now witnessing the same tactics formed by Hitler in Germany. People he hated, were rounded up and put into concentration camps—just as we see happening in America.

These families are not immigrants. They are refugees, escaping from the three countries with the highest murder rates in the world. But they are no treated as refugees. The parents are being sent back to their original countries, and their children are being adopted by people their parents don’t know. I guess neither do the followers of Trump care.

All citizens in America have ancestors who were immigrants from other countries unless they are ancestors of Indians or slaves. They came here to respect and obey our Constitution. But now we have in the White House a person whose ancestors came from Hitler’s country. His hope from the beginning was to introduce dictatorship. Remember his remarks: “Would you want me to be President forever?” and “When the North Korean leader speaks, his people pay attention with respect!” Trump has even asked the Pentagon to begin a new space army. But I believe another word for the new army is “S.S.” troops as Hitler had.

To all readers, please heed to this: “Be careful of what you wish for. We all have a shared destiny. We will rise or fall, but it will be together.”
